Coffee shops are great places to go whether you like coffee or not. The right cafe can be a connection to your community. You can go to relax, study, or visit with a friend. It is a place to find local artists and hear local musicians. Coffee shops are easy venues to host a book club, play a game, or work on whatever hobby interests you. It can be as simple and inexpensive as just a cup of coffee or you can splurge and enjoy a tasty meal with tea and dessert. The atmosphere of a coffee shop can be as warm and inviting as Grandma's kitchen, have a modern or eclectic feel, or transport you to another country and culture.
On this blog you will find information about coffee shops in and around Birmingham. I have included chocolate and tea shops as well. There aren't many but they do provide a little dose of caffeine (just like coffee) to perk you up! Check out these shops and find one that suits you!
p.s. Don't be shy if you don't like coffee. You can always find iced tea, juice, soda, (sometimes beer), and more. Just get out there and perk up!

Hi Sparky!
Sorry, I just put this up and I am gathering up the different addresses and phone numbers to list. Give me a day or two.
